Part 1: MSDN TechTalk –Windows 8 Apps Overview
If you want to get up to speed with this important release, this overview session is for you. We will introduce you to Windows 8, explaining the peculiarities of the new development platform for applications and the coexistence with the current development technologies. At the same time you will learn how you can benefit from the biggest opportunity presented by the Windows Store. This session will be held in English.
Part 2: MSDN Hands-On-Lab – Learn all About Developing Windows 8 Apps
Then, after the break, if you want to learn more about developing Windows 8 apps, you will have the chance to build your first app on your own with the support of Microsoft employees, using the language and technology you prefer. You can choose between two versions of the same lab (manual only available in English): one based on HTML and JavaScript, the other one based on XAML and C#. The goal of the lab is to make you acquire the skills needed to write compelling and store-ready apps.
